Since our inception in the 1960s, Gloster has always placed exceptional materials and craftsmanship at the core of every design. We cultivate and grow our own teak trees, carefully selecting only the finest logs with minimal natural defects, beautifully balanced shapes, and aged over 35 years for optimal density and rich oil content. After kiln drying the wood to the perfect moisture content for outdoor furniture, our skilled artisans then shape each piece by hand, refining every corner to perfection. From seed to finished seat, our process is guided by a deep commitment to sustainability, using every part of the tree and recycling materials whenever possible to eliminate waste.

While our cushions are custom made in the United States and require extra time, our overall lead times remain impressively short so that you can experience luxury design without the long wait.
