Properties
Harder than granite, ceramic provides chemical resistance, fireproofing, and protection against UV and heat damage. Water absorption is nearly nonexistent, making the surfaces completely frost-proof and weather-resistant.
Acrylic Stone
Gloster acrylic stone is a durable alternative that is impact resistant, non-porous, has excellent hygiene properties and is easy to clean. The composition blends an inorganic filler with premium acrylic polymeric binders.
Care
Acrylic stone resists UV exposure exceptionally well, and resists fading or discolouration when used outdoors. A wipe-down with mild soapy water keeps the surface clean.
